Miami, FL - A drug gang war that started in Kingston, Jamaica early in 1992 may have recently spilled over into the streets and bars of Miami. Reportedly, an early Saturday morning nightclub shooting of twenty-two (22) people involved members of the Jamaican "Shower Posse". Gang Crimes officers of the Broward County Sheriff's Office say that the nightclub killings may have been retribution for the February killing of Mark Coke, a leader of the Jamaican "Shower Posse" drug gang. The "Shower Posse" supposedly gets it's name from the "shower" of lead it shoots at rival gangs.
An agent of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobbaco, and Firearms says that Saturday's shootings "had all the earmarks" of a Jamaican "Posse" hit. Special Agent Joe Vince was quoted by the United Press International as saying, "the posses are the most vicious organized crime group in the United States today". Capt. Al Lambeti of the Broward County Sheriff's Office said that the shooting was a "...perfect textbook example of how the posse does business".
The Jamaican's typical method of operations (M.O.) reportedly includes multiple shots with multiple weapons, in a crowded public place. The Jamaicans are known for their frequent use of 9mm large magazine semiautomatic handguns and sub-machineguns. Their favorite weapons include the Uzi, Mac-10, Mac-11, Intra-tec, MP-5, Browning Hi-Power, Berreta F-92, Smith & Wesson 9mm pistols, Glock 9mm, and Colt .45 semiautos. Most of the weapons they prefer are not the so- called "Saturday Night Specials" of the gangs of yesteryear; the weapons that they choose are expensive and efficient "weapons of war", commonly used by worldwide military forces.

The Legal Arm (JLP) of the world's most notorious gang THE SHOWER POSSE of jamaica, paid homage to recently expired President Ronald Reagan in statements released this past Monday.
The JLP known as the JAMAICA LABOUR PARTY was led to prominence in the 1980 election by Edward Seaga , a close friend and ally of Ronald Reagan , and aided Reagan in his attempts to rid the island of Marijuana production and Socialist platforms led by the opposing PNP party (People's Nationalist Party).
But it was the SHOWER POSSE whom provided the "muscle" in the form of numerous glocks and uzi's which were used to spray (shower) their enemies on the streets of Kingston , Jamaica.
Seen as an invention of the C.I.A , according to those within and outiside the gang, by 1990 they had imported thier special brand of violence across seas to american cities such as Miami and New York, and help transport not only weaponry but tons of Cocaine as well, via thier Columbian contacts.
