It's that time so i bust a rhyme to define, how we celebrate and shine, after the grind
At my peoples I holla, cause it's holla day time
Aint no stoppin us now, we take a vow, to come to the Karamu
and stay a little while
to relax with the fam
and have a feast
It's been a good year cause we conquered the beast
We conquered all fear now we chillin in peace
ready for the new year
it's time for resolutions
soulutions
afromations
visualizations
We unite as one, in supreme elevation
Praisin the lord for divine creation

Happy Kwanzaa

It's Kwanzaa, clap your hands and through em up
Let your feet tap, come to the feast and kick back
You might even get the itis, and take a nap
But it's alright fam, cause its all about fam
You'll ressurect when we pray and hold hands
cause yo, we light a candle, every day
and pray that we always play this way.
and stay this way and praise this day
So keep the Kwanzaa Swagga, everyday
and find yourself in the kwanzaa spot today

Happy Kwanzaa

It's Kwanzaa, thanks to Maulana Karenga
For keeping the connect with Africa
The first fruits, in Kwazulu and Swahili
It reminds me of the color purple
with Miss Cieli,
and her children
It's glam to have fam, in the building
We reconnect---
With love in effect
It don't matter your religion
It's Africa we rep
To the Ancestors, We pour libations
and give thanks for the future generations

It's Kwanzaa
Happy Kwanzaa

FREEDOM, Do You Know It ?

Who Deserves Human Rights?

EVERYONE DOES

care2 petitionsite actionAlert

With 80 percent of Haitians living in abject poverty, many children are forced to work against their will in homes, fields, gangs and as prostitutes. As many as 200,000 are the victims of human trafficking.

But there is a solution: microfinance. »

These children are driven into trafficking for economic reasons. Reducing poverty, therefore, would help stop this slave trade in children.

It’s simple really: through microfinance, small loans enable hard-working women to open small businesses that let them feed and shelter their families. Just a few dollars a day in added income can mean children do not have to be forced into work. Instead, they can go to school and be healthy.

Former President Clinton is the UN Special Envoy to Haiti. At the top of his priorities is sustainable job creation. Tell him that there is no better way to protect Haiti’s children and create sustainable jobs than microfinance. »

Thanks for taking action!

Keepin it Greezy with the Dea and Weezy

Weezy F. Baby is a National Tool – according to the Onion,

DEA Recruits Lil Wayne To Use Up All Drugs In Mexico

now just imagine what this is going to do for his record sales, DZam. foolishness for cash

We’re bettin Baby will have him sitting right beside him in the bentley when they go sign cd’s in Miami this weekend. No Doubt this is somekinda publicity stunt. but I have to say it’s very timely for the drop of Weezy’s New Piece next week.

Genius at work, all the freekin time. all we can say is Go Get Yo Dough if they wanna throw it atcha Weezy. we ain’t mad atcha long as you keepin it greezy.

Vibe Had This on Baby and the New Drops

Birdman told you before that he has “money to blow.” Now, with his fourth solo album Priceless currently in stores, Weezy F. Baby’s daddy is spreading the wealth–with you! Well, that is if you win the VIBE Priceless Sweepstakes.

Based on that old Price Is Right game show (Bob Barker, what up!), we’re going to show four items featured in Baby and Drake’s video “Money To Blow” throughout the day Thursday (Dec. 3). Whoever can guess closest to the value of each item (without going over!) will will $250.

HipHopDX spoke with Baby recently and the subject of Wayne’s imprisonment came up – this is what he had to say

“I could be doing a lot of other things,” Birdman told the Associated Press. “But I love being an artist. I love the other things like dealing with my son Wayne and his music. It’s half and half.”

With one half of that equation, multi-platinum artist Lil Wayne, headed to jail in 2010, Birdman says his advice to his surrogate Hip Hop son was more about life than music.

“Forget rap; it’s about him right now,” Birdman added. “I got to deal with a situation I’ve never had to deal with in my life. It ain’t cool with me, but we have to live through it…Music, that’s the only thing that gets the stress off your mind to make you feel better. It’s how good it sounds after you’ve done it. The enjoyment of it.”

Did You Know that Weezy was RAPED At 11 YEARS OLD ?

Dig This from HHWired :

While filming his new documentary “The Carter” which was produced by QD3 and hit stores last month, Weezy F. Baby detailed how he was raped at the tender age of 11 by an “experienced” fellacio giver.

With his mentor and “Paw” Baby providing the “pro” and initiating the act while in plain view of several older crew members, Wayne revealed the tale of his first sexual encounter to Young Money artist Lil’ Twist, 15, which was “against his will.”

“I got raped when I was eleven, Twist. I loved it…. I ain’t never pressed charges. I’mma do you like Baby and them did me…”
